A suspected change in how our the frontend hosting vendor links the haptic.gg domain to our web application caused DNS records to no longer point to the correct IP addresses, resulting in a complete outage in our web application.

Our monitoring system caught the outage and alerted the engineer on-call. The cause was determined and a fix rolled out within 10 minutes of receiving the alert, and the problem was considered resolved at 15 minutes after the alert.

Game servers were not impacted and no data was lost.
